Flesk Meats was bursting at the seams: in addition to the company’s own storage facility in Killarney we were using third party facilities. In early 2005, we opened our very own new cold-storage facility in Baile Mhuirne, County Cork. The new facility serves to centralize all our storage and distribution. Everything is stored under our new computer controlled temperature management system. In addition, our refrigeration engineer is constantly informed of any temperature changes by automatic text messaging ensuring quick reaction to any deviations in temperature. Plus, the new building offers plenty of room to grow in the future.
